Complaints and dispute resolution

How to make a complaint to GNT Finance and Mortgage, our internal dispute resolution timeframes, and how to escalate to AFCA.

We want to know if something has gone wrong. Complaints are free, taken seriously and handled by Gorakh Timilsina personally.

How to complain

Phone 0426 403 703, email info@gntfinance.com.au with "Complaint" in the subject, or write to 23 Astbury Crescent, Mickleham VIC 3064. Tell us what happened, what you would like us to do, and the best way to contact you.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your complaint within one business day.
  2. We investigate and aim to resolve it within 5 business days. Complex matters may take longer, but we will provide a written response within 30 calendar days.
  3. Our response will explain the outcome, the reasons, and your right to escalate.

External dispute resolution

If you are not satisfied with our response, or 30 days have passed, you can contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), a free and independent service: afca.org.au · info@afca.org.au · 1800 931 678 · GPO Box 3, Melbourne VIC 3001.

Financial hardship

If you are struggling to meet repayments on a loan we arranged, contact us immediately. Lenders are required to consider hardship variations and we will help you apply. See your hardship rights.
